 Andrew McCutchen is back with Pittsburgh, the team announced.
In the 2024 season, McCutchen was a reliable performer for the Pirates. He played 120 games and achieved a .232 batting average, 20 home runs, and 50 RBIs. His on-base percentage was .328, and he finished with a .739 OPS. Even at age 37, McCutchen continued to demonstrate his value as an above-average hitter for the Pirates.
