INF Michael Stefanic, RHP Kevin Gowdy Sign Minor League Contracts with Spring Training Invitations

Infielder Michael Stefanic and right-handed pitcher Kevin Gowdy have agreed to Minor League contracts with invitations to Spring Training.

Stefanic, 28, was outrighted by the Angels to Triple-A Salt Lake on October 24 and chose to become a free agent. Over 90 games with the Angels from 2022 to 2024, he posted a .591 OPS.

​Gowdy, 27, elected free agency on November 4 after spending the past two seasons in the Dodgers' Minor League system. The former second-round pick by the Phillies in the 2016 Draft has yet to make his Major League debut.
