José Flores: First Base Coach/Infield Instructor Flores, 53, is an internal promotion who spent the past three seasons as the bench coach for Triple-A Worcester. His experience extends beyond the minors, having previously served as the first base/infield coach for the Philadelphia Phillies and Baltimore Orioles. Flores has also contributed his expertise to several other minor league clubs and team Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic. His extensive background in coaching and player development makes him a valuable asset to the Red Sox coaching staff. Parker Guinn: Catching Instructor/Bullpen Catcher Guinn, 31, brings a fresh perspective to the Red Sox with his diverse coaching experience. Prior to joining affiliated ball, he coached at various college programs, including the University of Washington, Everett Community College, University of Utah, and Southern Illinois Edwardsville University. Most recently, Guinn managed the Yankees in the Dominican Summer League for the past two years. His background in player development and managerial experience will be crucial in his new role with the Red Sox.
