Former Padres infielder Ha-Seong Kim has signed a two-year, $29 million contract with the Tampa Bay Rays.
The deal includes an opt-out after the 2025 season. Kim, who played in 121 games last season, posted a .233 batting average, 11 home runs, and 22 stolen bases. He is expected to return from shoulder surgery in May.
