Via a tweet from the club, Tampa Bay has signed Yu Chang to a Minor League Deal.
Chang is in his 6th year and Tampa this will be his second stint with the team. For his career he is batting .204, 20 hr and 79 rbis.

Per a tweet from Mark Feinsand, Free Agent stud Pitcher Blake Snell has a contract offer from the New York Yankees.
The Angels and Giants are also options for the reigning AL Cy Young winner. This report comes directly after USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reported that the Yankees still have “serious interest” in Snell. The squad claimed Michael Kelly from the Guardians and signed Daz Cameron to a minor league deal. Kelly just finished his 11th year of pro ball, playing 14 games with Cleveland last season. Cameron just finished his 3rd year of pro ball, playing 21 games with Detroit last season. Per a tweet from Buster Olney, Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto is expected to be posted Monday, which means the 45 day negotiation window will open at that time.
Yamamoto has pitched since 2017 for the NPB and has under a 2 ERA - a freaking stud. The White Sox trade LHP Aaron Bummer to the Braves for RHP Michael Soroka, LHP Jared Shuster, INF Nicky Lopez, INF Braden Shewmake and minor league RHP Riley Gowens. Bummer is under club control through 2026, pitched in 61 games in 2023 with a 6.79 ERA. 2024 will be his 8th MLB season. MLB announced the the ballot for the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
Voting results will be announced December 3rd. In a tweet from the club, the Rockies announced RHP Matt Koch, RHP Karl Kauffmann and LHP Ty Blach have been outrighted off the Major League Roster.
Koch appeared in 39 games with a 5.12 ERA Kauffmann appeared in a 11 games with a 8.23 ERA Blach appeared in 20 games with a 5.54 ERA Via a tweet from Patrick Mooney, Cubs Pitcher Michael Fulmer will miss the 2024 season after undergoing UCL revision surgery on his right elbow.

RHP Brandon Bielak recalled from AAA Sugar Land, RHP Seth Martinez optioned to AAA Sugar Land. Bielak is 5-6 with a 3.74 ERA in 14 games so far this season. The Reds announced the transfer of LHP Nick Lodolo from his rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League to Double-A Chattanooga.
The Twins announced the reinstatement of INF Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list, while adding OF/INF Willi Castro to the 10-day IL with a mild left oblique strain.
The Braves announced INF Ozzie Albies will be placed on the 10-day injured list, backdated to August 14, with a strained left hamstring.

The #Braves today claimed OF Dalton Guthrie off waivers from the San Francisco Giants and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett. To make room on the 40-man roster, Atlanta placed RHP Nick Anderson on the 60-day injured list, backdated to July 8th, with a right shoulder strain. Anderson has been working through a right shoulder strain and has appeared in 35 games with a 3.06 ERA. Per a tweet from Carlos Collazo, the Angels have signed 1st round pick Nolan Schanuel. He signed for the slotted amount of $5.2 Mil.
Schanuel was selected 11th overall out of Florida Athantic. He hit .447 with 19 home runs this season. The White Sox announced they have picked up Reliever Mike Mayers from the Kansas City Royals.
The 31-year old Veteran has a 6.15 ERA in 6 games this season. The Phillies announced the move to place Josh Harrison to the 10-day IL List via their social media accounts today.
